BBC Documentary Filmed at Queen’s Archives

Western Front Productions visited Queen’s Archives over the past weekend to film a documentary on Buster Brown, to be aired on BBC.  The documentary revolves around Military Defence Scheme #1.  The James Sutherland “Buster” Brown fonds, held in Queen’s Archives, contains the only known extant copy of this Defence Scheme, which outlined the defence of Canada from an attack by the USA in the 1921.  All copies of this scheme had been ordered destroyed in 1933.

Queen’s Archives also holds all of the background notes relating to the writing of this scheme.  For more information, see Buster: A Canadian Patriot and Imperialist by Atholl Sutherland Brown.

there isn’t a chance that these “defence scheme” papers could be digitized and put up is there? They sound quite interesting.
